*In-person sessions are subject to a minimum number of participants stipulated by certification requirements; if this number is not reached, we must reschedule dates. Please read more on the topics below, “Minimum of Participants not reached.”

  • Attend the entire course period. More than 10 minutes late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the class and will have to reschedule. We suggest you arrive 10 minutes before the start of the class.
  • Follow all rules and regulations and obey all terms and conditions established by Everlong Preparedness LLC and the American Red Cross. There are no exceptions.
  • When registering (new users), each candidate must use a unique email address to enroll in the courses and classes. Two or more participants using the same email address for enrollment is prohibited. Suppose you have a previous account registered with the American Red Cross. In that case, you can use the same email for your courses and certifications if it belongs to you.

For Blended Course (online + in-person skills):
Complete and pass the online portion before the in-person class starts. Make sure you click “FINISH” at the end of your online course on the last page of the last module.

For the in-person skills portion, the student must participate throughout the course duration, actively perform/practice when requested, and pass the final skills assessment.
Attending the in-person session requires proof of the online portion’s successful completion. Students may provide instructors with one of the following as proof:
• A copy of the email confirmation received upon completing the online portion of the completion record at the ARC learning center can be shown on the smart device. There is no need for a printed copy).
• Visibility to the completion status that appears above the “Launch Course” button (requires the student to login to the direct links platform using the course URL provided by the instructor).
For the in-person-only course, Participants must attend the entire course duration, actively perform and practice when requested, and pass the final exam and skills assessment.

Even though BLS is open to anyone interested in this training, it is best for healthcare workers, public safety professionals, rescuers, professionals who may have BLS as a work requirement, and students in those mentioned areas.

  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • The use of AED (Automated Defibrillator)
  • Breathing/Cardiac emergencies (chocking, allergies, drug overdose, drowning)

*FA (First Aid) is not included, but it is possible to add it separately.
*It is also advised to use more add-ons, such as Pathogens and Emergency Bleeding, for a more in-depth and rounded learning experience.

The BLS Blended Course skills session (in-person portion) lasts a minimum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. However, the class duration depends on the number of participants and the performance; the ending time is only an estimation, so keep your schedule flexible or clear for a couple of hours following the estimated ending time in case the class hours exceed the estimation

  • Enrollees must have an email address unique and of personal use for online courses and registration, meaning two students/participants cannot register using the same email address.
  • Passing exams/skills: You must pass the in-person exam and/or skills session (if applicable to your course, as described on your course overview); in case you fail, we will allow you a one-time fee-free rescheduling of a new date with us for the next 60 days within the open availability.

  • How long is the certification valid?
Certification is valid for two years—certification is issued after successful course completion.
  • When and how will I get my certification?
Certification processing can take anywhere from 1 hour to 3 days after course completion (it will mostly take a couple of hours). It will be sent to your registered email (enrollee email). Please check your spam box.
You can also access the American Red Cross Learning Center (https://www.redcrosslearningcenter.org/s/login/) at any time to check if the certification is ready or, in the future if you need a new copy. American Red Cross will store all your course history and certifications.
  • Note on printed and/or signed certificates:
You can always print your certificates and wallet-size cards directly, but if you would rather have them printed for you or your organization requests that the training provider sign them, please get in touch with us to make the proper arrangements. Usually, it costs $10 with standard shipping included, and you will receive a certification printed on cardstock paper and a wallet-size card.

Please wear comfortable clothing. Remember that some activities may require getting on the floor, and you will move frequently, so it is best to wear breathable clothes that allow movement.

A minimum number of participants per class is necessary for it to occur; the organizations that regulate the certifications and materials impose the requirements, and we have no control over it.

Suppose the minimum number of participants registered is not reached 24 hours before the class/event start time. In that case, a new date will be assigned, and we will email/text to you with the changes and all related information within minimum of 12h from the class start time.

If you are unsatisfied with the new dates and times, you can get a full refund or choose another date from our upcoming open classes. You have 60 days to use the credit for the new date with us.

If you are doing a blended or online course, some courses and content may not work well on phones, notebooks/desktops, and browsers. Please try another option if you have issues using a specific device, app, or browser.
